Apprentice
Jazmin Torres
A stylist whose journey began in Mexico, and continued in Edwards, CO, Jazmin discovered her passion at Allure Academy in Eagle. Her artistic approach shines through every service, whether crafting precise men’s cuts, creating stunning blowouts, or refreshing color. Jazmin believes in helping clients express their authentic selves, transforming how they feel inside and out. When not behind the chair, she explores her creativity through traveling, concerts, tattoo art, and nail design. Her sunny personality – much like her favorite color yellow – brings warmth to every client interaction, making each salon visit an uplifting experience..

Katy Gonzalez
Originally from Mexico and raised in Avon, Colorado, Katy found her calling in hair styling after graduating from Allure Academy in 2019. Her approach goes beyond cutting and styling – she’s passionate about educating clients and helping them shine from the inside out. With experience styling for Project Funway and the Star Dancing Gala, Katy continues to expand her skills, recently attending the International Beauty Show in Las Vegas. Her expertise spans blowdries, updos, and men’s cuts. Outside the salon, she enjoys reading, cooking, and constantly learning new things, bringing that same curiosity and enthusiasm to every client’s hair transformation.

Yahaira Moya Amaya
A true Vail Valley local from Edwards, Yahaira graduated from Battle Mountain High School before pursuing her cosmetology degree at Allure Academy in 2022. Her passion lies in helping clients express themselves through hair, specializing in vivid fashion colors, highlights, and perfect blowouts. More than just a stylist, Yahaira sees each appointment as an opportunity to educate and empower. She believes in sharing wisdom and kindness with everyone who sits in her chair. When not transforming hair, she feeds her creative spirit through traveling, concert-going, and reading. Her technical skill and genuine connection make every salon visit both a beautiful and meaningful experience..
Senior stylist
Alan Randall
Alan was born and raised in Ames, Iowa and relocated to the Vail Valley in 2022. Art, fashion, adventure and a knack for using his hands drove his creativity from a young age. Alan attended the Aveda Institute in Des Moines, and has managed and styled hair at his family’s salon – The Salon in Ames – since 2010. During this time, Alan was named the #2 colorist under 30 for Colorist Magazine (aka Beauty Launchpad), and worked in education and product development for various brands including Aloxxi and Keracolor. He is currently an educator for Curl Cult, a new texture service for creating waves and curls, and continues to oversee business operations at The Salon in Ames from Colorado. Alan specializes in straight razor cutting, clipper cutting, and natural lived in color. His passion for cutting, coloring and texturizing creates an opportunity for clients to express their style and personality in a variety of ways.

Nick Mahaffey
Nick is a prominent hair stylist with 20 years of experience working with clients, primarily in the Eagle Vail valley. He spends time getting to know his clients, learning about their lifestyle, personal style, and bone structure. Throughout his years as a stylist, Nick has built experience working in salons, photo shoots, doing runway work, and more. He has spent years collaborating with industry professionals throughout the world, and doing hair for professional models, athletes, TV personalities, and others.Nick’s interest in human psychology and advocacy for mental health allow him to focus deeply on connecting with his clients, to meet them where they are, ultimately making it possible to give them the perfect haircut. Outside of the salon, Nick spends his time in the outdoors fishing, snowboarding, and snowmobiling. He also volunteers for Children’s Hospital Colorado working with child burn survivors.
